I ordered these bags to protect my drums during transportation. They do the job well. No more worrying about nicks and scratches. I just throw these in my truck, tie them down and go! It's also easier to carry three or four toms at a time with the straps. 4 or 5 trips unloading turned into 1 or 2 trips! The sizes of the drum cases fit my drums almost perfectly. My drums are 8x6, 10x6, 12x8, 14x12, 16x14, 22x18 and 14x5. I purchased another Gator case because my 8x6 is too small to fit into the 9x10 in this pack.

These work very well. We don't transport our drums much, but these bags are about perfect.
We have Pearl Vision drums, overall the bags fit well, but not perfect. But that is to be expect with any general bags purchased (not made directly for a drum set).

I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of these cases for the price. Of course, if you want maximum protection, you will need hard shell cases, but for someone like me that has 2 - 3 gigs per month that are mostly local - they are ideal. The straps are heavy duty enough for me to throw the kick drum over my shoulder and pick up all three toms and the snare at once with my free hands. The interior padding is adequate and soft. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

I got these cases to protect my Gretsch Renown Maple Kit. I have one of the deepest bass drums you'd ever see on a non-custom kit, and was worried whether the bass drum bag in this set would fit, but it did perfectly! I used these for a year before going back to guitar playing.
These are by no means hard-cases, but as for protection from your typical run ins with door frames, car doors, other drums, etc, all of course caused by your careless band mates trying to be nice and help you out, these bags help you in that regard.
My one gripe (and reason for the 4-star review) is that on the bass drum bag, the handle strap stitching has started to come apart. This is caused directly by not picking the bag up by the center of the handle, if you pick it up from the side, closest to the stitching, you're putting all the drum's weight on that stitching causing this to happen. So with some care and attention, you could take good care of these bags to prevent that. It may not even be an issue for drums other than the bass drum as they are less heavy and may not cause ripping. In addition, if this were to happen to your bags, you can get heavy sewing repairs done for next to nothing at shoe repair shops and the like, often with a re-enforced stitching that will outlive you!
One more cool thing to add is that these are somewhat easy to throw over your shoulder, which makes it easy to carry multiple. As a seasoned musician, I'd always recommend you getting a cart to haul your and your bands gear from vehicle into venue, as that is the least enjoyable part of gigging out.

Bought these for my Gretsch Catalina set. They provide great padding and are easy to carry along almost the entire set at once with the convenient straps. I have been gigging with these for a couple of months now without a scratch. I would have given them 5 stars but they are a little snug width wise. I have to wrestle the Bass Drum into it's case but other than that they are perfect.
