The L bracket can be inserted the opposite direction from the picture -- allowing the cow bell to be mounted so that it doesn't stick as far out from the bass.

finding a cowbell mount that will place your cowbell right in that little pocket between the snare and two mounted toms has been a challenge, but this thing works just right and it's steady and non-slip.

I like this cowbell holder mount for a couple of reasons. First of all Im using a 26" Kick and the Hoop is a little thick. This mount opens up wide enough to fit and then I can snug it with enough force and it does not leave a mark or a trace of wear on my Ludwig Hoop. This is important to me. And then the bell can be up high enough or low enough and I can move it back forward or reverse away from me as needed. To me the main thing was finding one that didn't bite into my Drum hoop. I used to mount my Bell on a cymbal stand to the right of the ride but lately I have it closer in to the right of my Snare and under my ride. This makes it nice to mix more radically with paradiddles and other patterns within my kit.
Can't go wrong with this bell Mount.

i never mounted a cowbell, i bought this in order to put a tambourine between the toms. it ended up beeing to noisy (when i hited the BD) but i put it into a cheap cymbal stand (thin patetic tube) and has holded up well, yet the rubber its not made to that so it deformed, but it still hangs perfectly

El soporte de cencerro para el bombo es buenisimo,es super versatil en cuanto a posicion, lo puedes poner en cualquier parte del aro del bombo y tener el cencerro a la mano, trae una goma en la parte donde se sujeta al aro cubriendo y protegiendo la integridad del mismo, el tubo "L" no se mueve una ves ajustado por su textura aspera anti-resbalante, es pequeño y muy transportable, no molesta para nada, ademas es muy agradable a la vista, es mas caro que los otros soportes de otras marcas (Tama, Meinl, Gibraltar)pero vale la pena pagar el precio por tremendo equipo
