This is probably one of the best thing I bought on Amazon.
The pedals are perfect and I'd say good for starters as well. So happy I didn't have to spend 300-500+ bucks for a high quality pedal. This is worth buying and so far I don't have any problems and it looks/feels durable. It feels comfortable on my feet and easy to adjust.
I recommend purchasing this when you're looking for something affordable and definitely reliable.

Extreamly durable, good quality, and fast chain drive ablility. This is an extreamly good pedal, love it, and since it is made by pearl, I know it's gonna be made good quality. Definetly reccomend it to anybody looking into double bass pedals..

Great pedals for the price! Mar 07, 2011

I'll start this review by admitting I'm not a drummer, or wasnt until buying these. I had been playing Rock Band since it came out and after moving on to using cymbals and pro mode and reaching the top 10 on some songs in the leaderboars I decided I wanted a real kit. I bought an e-kit, the Alesis DM10 Studio kit and got these pedals with it. The feeling between Rock Band's plastic bass pedals and these are of course night and day. I am able to pull off fast bursts of 3-4 hits and hold a decently high double bass speed. It all feels so smooth and unlike the Rock Band pedals I can hold the steady and consistant double bass beat for a full 3 minutes before getting tired. I'm sure after I get some skill and practice in I could go even faster. I was originally going to just buy a $79 pair I saw on another site but I'm very happy I went with these. I cant speak for too many other pedals but for the price these are the best out of the ones I've tried.

I decided I wanted to get back to my roots with a little Zepplin and Van Halen so I took a chance on this pedal. I did not want to spend too much because there are not a tremendous amount of songs which require double base. I decided on this pedal because my pearl vision set came with the P900 single pedal and it totally rocks.
I have not been disappointed. I have been playing Mobby Dick and Hot For Teacher as much as possible. Definitely worth the money.

If you are looking for a good and affordable pedal this is it!! Not only is it light and fast, it is also very easy to adjust. People who say that its bad are haters so don't listen(:
