5My Alltime Favorite Crash!!!!!!!  Dec 13, 2009 By Snaredog "Snaredog"
I have two and love them! I play all kinds of music and they sound awesome at any price but the fact that they are so cheap is incredible! I play in a Neil Diamond tribute band and they are extra sensitive for that but I also play mostly metal and they are ALWAYS loud enough. They have such a beautiful tone that dosent get tinny with age like the Zildjian's and Paiste's do and are less expensive to boot, plus are way more durable. Ive alway maintained that I can break a Zildjian at will. They use what seems to be a softer more inferior grade alloy. Some of them sound realy nice but it's realy only a matter of time till they break and your heart right with it. Some Paiste's sound realy great too but its also just a matter of time with those too, also they get realy trashy with age. I recently played a gig where another drummer was gonna let me use his old 2002 ride. I was thinking well it probably sounds better than my b8 ride god knows 2002's cost like 4 or more times what a Sabian b8 costs. So I set it up. I sounded like HELL! I threw my b8 back up so fast! the b8's are louder and are more sensitive at lower volumes than any Paiste and age way better.

I have I think broken a couple Sabians over the years ( I've played them since they came out!)but I don't "know" I'm going to break them and when I did it was more like a fluke. The ones I broke were a long time ago and cymbal technology has gotten so much better I feel it would be another fluke if I broke one again. But bottom line the sound awesome plus they're cheap. If anyone tells you different don't listen, find out for yourself because I LOVE them. ther is a store near me that has a stack of 16" thin crashes (my favorite. don't like the heavier b8's so much) and if I had the money I'd buy the whole stack and not regret it! LOL

1cheap  Feb 05, 2012 By Dave
so I bought a cymbal pack because i needed new high hats and another crash, went to play for a little while, halfway through a song i was covering i noticed something didnt sound right, my cymbal got not one but two inch long cracks in it about 4 inches apart

1Poor sound quality  Apr 29, 2011 By RobH
Very poor sound quality. Returned and got an HHX Evolution instead. Bottom line: You get what you pay for.

5Money well spent  Apr 27, 2011 By circmcgurk
This cymbal added a bunch of sound and versatility to my kit's playability. Although it is not a "top of the line" cymbal, it is a quality Sabian crash. It works perfectly for what type of music I play, which requires jazz/funk groove drumming as well as heavier play when it's time to get loud. This cymbal keeps up with it all. With a little bit of practice, you'll find that evoking the sounds you want only takes a good understanding of how to hit this cymbal.

Paying three times the price WILL NOT bring you three times the quality. I'm glad I didn't.

5Good Solid Crash  Feb 28, 2010 By Michael A. Gallardo "GMoney"
This was my frist Crash I had to get a new one because I cracked up my old one.
I had the other Crash for a good three or so years before it started to crack up.
So they are good solid Crashes I like the sound too.
Good for the money
I had a ZHT and that started to crack before my Sabian here.
