5Tama Rhythm Watch - 10 years of reliable service and now I have a new one.  Jun 02, 2011 By Marshall G
Watch Video Here: http://www.amazon.com/review/R1TIFU6E2GYN0M This is a great product. It has been around for a long time ... and for good reason. I have used it for over 10 years ... and recently had to buy another. [just normal wear and tear] This product has some subtle features that may get overlooked ... watch carefully.

5super  May 26, 2010 By Kat
Recommended by my son's drum teacher. She was right! With a Vic Firth headset, he's able to actually hear the metronome at the same time as he plays the noisy drums. Metronome is easy to use, nice lights, easy to follow.

3Yes but...  Jun 26, 2011 By Tom Lucas
The banjo player in my band swears by this thing, and it works fine BUT there are some lame things about it:

1. It's only half-programmable. That is, some parameters are entered with buttons, some with knobs. Whenever you shut it down, it forgets everything you entered with buttons. The knobs, of course, are still where they were and so it "remembers" those settings, but unless you poke in the same button settings again, the knob settings might not make any sense.

2. It has this "prog" option that I've never figured out. Why would I? It would just forget whatever I put in after I shut it down.

3. It uses tones instead of more percussive clicks or taps. The tones might clash with whatever key you're playing in. This doesn't bother some people. In fact, maybe drummers would actually prefer tones, I don't know.

4. It's pretty flimsy. Musicians need tougher equipment. On mine, the mini-phono socket is broken. On my banjo player's, the "start" switch is broken. He's hot-wired it so it's still usable, but again, lame.

5Awesome metronome, worth buying  Aug 21, 2009 By Darin J. Bjork "PearlMaster"
Tama's RhythmWatch is an awesome machine. I've had mine for a few years now and Ive never needed anything more. Ive been drumming for 12 years and using a metronome is an absolute must. Whats great about this one is the ability to dial in different notes, eighth notes, quarter, half, full measure, triplets. You see the dials on the machine. Each specific dial adjusts the volume for every one you feel like turning on. You can adjust the sounds a couple different ways and it goes all the way to 9/4 count. Well worth the 100 bucks.
